When to Sow:
Sown indoors in early spring or outside in May when no danger of frost.
Harvest:
Warm weather, about 6 weeks after planting. Cut lows so that fresh crop appears; sow three or four times at an interval of a 2 or 3 weeks.
Special Features:
Golden purslane has golden stems and large, light green leaves packed with Omega 3 fatty acids. Individual leaves are oval to round and thick, about the size of a teaspoon. Tangy flavor. Neither heat, frost nor drought tolerant.
